UPSC IES Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

All the interested candidates who have been willing to apply for the UPSC IES Recruitment 2019 must have completed their degree in Engineering from the recognized university or board. Students those who are studying their final year can also apply for the application and can go through the recruitment process to get selected for the IES post.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit of the candidates is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years as on the 1st January 2019. The candidate should have been born between the period of Jan 2, 1989, and Jan 1, 1998. Age relaxation for every category will be as per the government norms.

Selection Process

According to the official notification, candidates will be selected after the completion of 3 stages.

Phase 1: Engineering Services (Preliminary / Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers)

Pay Scale

After the selection process, Candidates who have got selected for the post will be given a basic pay of Rs 56,100 per month initially along with the allowance in the Pay Matrix Level 10 of 7th CPC.
