West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board has issued the admission notification for engineering courses to join aspirants need to qualify in written examination. The candidates awaiting the admit cards for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2015 (WBJEE 2015) can now download the admit cards. The exams will be held on May 5, 2015 and May 6, 2015. WBJEE is conducted for the admission of students to various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Architecture, Pharmaceutical, Medicine etc. The candidates those who are interested and the eligible have applied and waiting for exam date. About WBJEE

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed in the year 1962 for the purpose of holding Common Entrance Examinations for the Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in the State of West Bengal. The endeavour of the Board has always been directed towards enhancement of transparency in conducting Common Entrance Examinations for various professional Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses in the State through effective state-of-the-art technology. Online application and admission through e–Counselling is operational for the undergraduate level Engineering and Medical courses of the State.

The board has issued the written examination dates and exam is planned in 5th May 2015 and 6th May 2015, and admit cards are available to download form 2nd of April 2015. The candidates those who selected in the written examination will be called for the counselling process. The candidates will be shortlisted by the merit list in the examination score and the candidates have to work hard to qualify in exam. Without the admit card of WBJEE the aspirants will not be allowed for the examination hall.

WBJEE Exam Dates 2015

WBJEE will be conducted in four subjects, namely: Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The board has made some changes this year and no particular school or board will be given any preference for the examination. Moreover, the board has notified candidates to emphasize more on the depth of the topics than the quantity of topics. For each applicant an admit card has been generated indicating the allotted Examination center and a downloadable version of the WBJEE 2015 admit card will be published on the respective webpage of the candidate concerned. An Examination Roll Number will also be generated to each candidate.
