Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications from the aspirants of the state.  As per the notification, there are 3838 vacancies in the post.  The vacancies issued by UPPSC include Staff Nurse (Female) and Staff Nurse (Male).  The online applications will be accepted online through the official web portal of UPPSC.  Aspirants need to hurry up and apply for the positions before the last date ends.  The authority won’t accept the applications after the last date.  The last date to submit application forms is 13 February 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for UP Staff Nurse Recruitment 2017

There are a total of 3838 vacancies in Staff Nurse Post while 448 vacancies are for Male candidates and 3390 are for female candidates.  Applicants should have passed high school examination and intermediate examination or equivalent from recognized board of Uttar Pradesh.  Applicant should possess diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. degree in Nursing from any recognized college of U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council.  Applicants should also hold a registration certificate as Nurse and Midwife from the UP Nurses and Midwives Council.

The age limit of the applicants should be between 21 years and 40 years.  Upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.  For PH candidates, the upper age relaxation is up to 55 years.  The selection process is purely based on the performance shown by the candidates in the written exam.  The application fee varies from category to category.  The application fee for UR/OBC candidates is Rs. 100.  The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 40 and for PWD it is Nil.

UP Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2017

The written exam for staff nurse position will be conducted for 85 marks.  The exams will be conducted for 2 hours.  The subjects covered include General Knowledge (30 questions), General Hindi (20 questions) and Nursing (120 questions).
